OVERVIEW & PROVENANCE

For more than three decades Mohamed Tawfik has designed and managed hotels and resorts, most recently as Head of Architecture and Interior Design at PickAlbatros Group, where he delivered five-star resorts of 262 to 888 rooms across Egypt and Morocco.

This selection compiles the main hospitality projects of that period, together with the working method behind them: design, management and engineering coordination under one lead.

Villaggio & Vita Resorts

MARSA ALLAM, RED SEA, EGYPT • 2020

A five-star resort of 888 rooms for PickAlbatros Hotels and the largest project in the portfolio. Architectural and urban design covers every component of the resort, from the main building with lobby and lobby bar to the leisure and dining areas.

The programme includes eight large swimming pools, twelve speciality restaurants, a health club, three playgrounds, three food courts and a disco.

Neverland Resort

MARSA ALLAM, RED SEA, EGYPT • 2020

A five-star family resort of 300 suites. The design brief combined a hotel with an amusement park and a large aquapark, with the architecture and urban design developed for all components.

The project includes 75 aqua-park slides, an amusement park, eight large swimming pools, fifteen speciality restaurants, two health clubs, three playgrounds and three food courts.

Blu Spa Resort

HURGHADA, RED SEA, EGYPT • 2022–2023

A five-star hotel of 318 rooms in Hurghada. Mohamed Tawfik led the architectural and urban design for the whole resort, including the main building, lobby and lobby bar.

The programme includes four large swimming pools, four speciality restaurants, a health club, playground, food court and disco.

Albatros Palace Resort

A five-star resort of 612 rooms designed for PickAlbatros Hotels. Architectural and urban design for all components of the project, from the main building to the pools and leisure areas.

    Interior Design for Hotels, Restaurants and Nile Cruises

    Architect and interior designer, converting concepts into interior documents and workshop drawings and following each project from first phase to final execution.
